Oceanic Bank International Plc has promoted a total of 318 employees in recognition of their outstanding performances.
Also, 136 workers of the bank got increment in their compensation package to further motivate them.
A statement from the bank said the promotions and salary increments were done to recognise employees who had performed very well.
The statement read, â€ÂÂIn line with bank‘s resolve to reward performance, the mid-year performance appraisal review for the period January to June 2010 was concluded and has been ratified by the Executive Management. A total of 4,707 staff representing 90 per cent of the bank‘s staff strength was appraised.â€ÂÂ
The statement added that a critical assessment of staff appraisal results and agreed performance was done. It added, “The assessment considered the evidence of staff input and achievements leading to the elevation of a total of 318 staff.â€ÂÂ
