ILRM to sensitise risk managers on global best practices

The Institute of Loan and Risk Management of Nigeria, said on Wednesday, that it would hold a one-day mandatory continuing professional capacity building workshop to sensitise its members.

According to a statement issued by the institute, the workshop is organised to coach loan and risk managers on how to align with the goals and objectives of their various organisations’ expectations on global best practices in loan and risk management.

The statement added that the professional capacity building would offer immense opportunities for continuous education to those who were desirous of acquiring and improving their skills in the specialist professional discipline of loan and risk management practice.

The ILRM was established primarily to fill the void in the specialist professional discipline of loan and risk management practice, thereby complementing the contributions of other professional bodies.

The statement said, ”The professional capacity building programme is aimed at enriching the participants knowledge and skills in latest global best practices in loan and risk management practice, effective risk management, emerging and evolving issues in loan and risk management.”
