Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE) – Conglomerates Giants UAC of Nigeria Plc (UACN) has appointed two Non-Executive Directors to its Board.

This was contained in a notice from the Company Monday November 22 2010 to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in Lagos Nigeria.

The two Non-Executive Directors are Dr. Okechukwu Enalemah and Dr. Mansur Muktar.
ÂÂÂ
“The Company has notified The Exchange of the appointments of Dr. Okechukwu Enalemah and Dr. Mansur Muktar as Non-Executive Directors to its Board†the notice said.
ÂÂÂ
Dr. Enelamah is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of African Capital Alliance (ACA) which is a leading Independent Private Equity Firm investing in West Africa.
ÂÂÂ
He graduated from the University of Nigeria Nsukka with a Bachelor of Surgery Degree in Medicine; Enelamah has a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration with distinction in 1994.
ÂÂÂ
The new Non-Executive Director of UACN qualified as a chartered Accountant in 1992 and a chartered Financial Analyst in 1997. He has more than 22 years of working experience and serves on the Boards of a number of ACA investee Companies.
ÂÂÂ
On the part of Dr. Mansur, until his appointment as a Minister of Finance in 2008 he was an Executive Director (ED) at African Development Bank (ADB), Tunis.
ÂÂÂ
Also, he is currently a Distinguished Fellow at Center for the Studies of Economics in Africa and the chairman, Stratecon International Limited, Management Consultants, Abuja.
ÂÂÂ
Dr. Mansur has a PHD in Economics from the University of Sussex, Brighton, United Kingdom in 1988. He has more than 20 years of working experience in the finance industry and has occupied several management positions.
