Skye Bank Plc has won the Central Bank of Nigeria‘s award as the ”Best Bank in Clearing” in the Abeokuta clearing zone for the year 2010. 

A statement issued by the bank on Tuesday said it emerged the best bank in clearing, based on its efficiency and excellent processing track records, which have won the trophy for the bank for two consecutive years.

The bank said the CBN conferred the award on it because of its attendance at every quarterly meeting of the zone, punctuality at clearing sessions, and error free clearing sessions.

Other basis for the award include return of coins, shortages/overage and deposit/withdrawal at treasury.

The statement explained that the achievement was made possible by the collaboration and good working relationship between the bank‘s clearing and cash management units in Abeokuta.
