The Bank has notified The Exchange that in furtherance of its expansion strategy, it will commence full scale banking operations in Democratic Republic of Congo on Monday, January 31, 2011.

 

This brings the Bank’s total operations to 18(Eighteen) countries spread across Western, Eastern, Central and Southern Africa.

The Commencement of UBA DR Congo with its head office located at 1853 Avenue de la Liberation, Kinshasa/ Congo DR, followed regulatory approval by financial authorities in DR Congo.
