The Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC Nigeria has been thrown into mourning following the untimely demise of its Head, Media Division, Mr. Felix Olanrewaju Oloyi.
Mr. Oloyi, an Assistant Director at the Securities and Exchange Commission, transited to the great beyond on Saturday, 3rd September 2011 at his residence in Lagos.
Born on 4th April 1960 at Akoko Ondo, Ondo State, he joined the Commission from the Guardian Newspapers in 2002 as a Manager and rose to the position of Assistant Director / Head of Media, a position he occupied until his sudden demise.
Mr. Oloyi, fondly called Lanre by colleagues and friends alike, was noted for his passionate commitment to duty and strong interpersonal skills characterized by an affable mien towards every one with whom he came in contact.
He is survived by a wife and four children.
