Grand Petroleum increases lub Plant capacity to 6 million litres monthly

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Grand Petroleum Limited, a subsidiary of Nosak Group has increased its lubricant Oil blending Plant capacity to six (6) million litres per month.

Toni Ogunbor, Chairman of the Firm made this disclosure at a Major Distributors business forum held recently in Lagos Nigeria.

“Grand Petroleum Limited had invested heavily in the provision of a world class lube blending Plant with an installed capacity of 6 million litres monthly” he said.

According to Ogunbor, the investment has made the Company to increasingly satisfy the growing demand for Grand Petroleum’s high quality product in the Market, “particularly the HI-Speed Engine Oils and Gear Oils nationwide” he affirmed.

He further affirmed that the Hi-Speed range of lubricants produced in accordance with the stipulated international specifications and standard covers a wide range of applications; which include Automotive, Industrial, Marine and Specialties.

Ogunbor said the new ultra modern Lubricant Blending Plant with the state-of-the-art Laboratory ensures that quality is maintained across all product lines. “Our products are all certified and approved by the relevant Regulatory Authorities (Standard Organisation of Nigeria and Department of Petroleum Resources)” the Grand Petroleum Chairman affirmed.

“In our bid to maintain standards, Grand Petroleum Limited has employed the services of a reputable consultant for the transformation agenda and all of us are expected to work together with the consultant with a view to achieving effective organisational change for productive performance and installation of ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System” he said.

According to him, the Hi-Speed is a brand that has been tested locally and internationally. “The quality and performance levels are not in doubt; acceptance by customers, distributors and other end users is a testimony to the price paid to ensure that all stakeholders can get the maximum satisfaction expected by using Hi-Speed Lubricants” he said.

He also disclosed that a major challenge the Firm is confronting presently is the issue of product adulteration. “We are fighting this by closely working with relevant Government Agencies, with a view to eradicating hot beds were fake products prevail” Ogunbor said.

In the same vein, Ogunbor said that Grand Petroleum is seeking to be amongst the top five Petroleum/Lubricant manufacturing Companies in Nigeria by 2012 and has set up a training school in its Lubricant Plant to train staff, its customers and other stakeholders in the industry in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
