Eterna Oil reports 99.8% loss in Q3 of 2011

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Eterna Oil & Gas Plc operating in the Petroleum Marketing sector of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Monday reported a 99.8 percent (99.8%) loss in its Unaudited Third Quarter (Q3) Report for the period ended September 30 2011.

A review of the year 2011 Q3 Report of Eterna Oil & Gas shows that Profit After Tax (PAT) slipped from N651.918 million in Q3 of 2010 to N1.078 million in the corresponding period of year 2011; indicating a loss of 99.8% in the review period.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased from N958.703 million in the Q3 of 2010 to N1.586 billion in the same period of year 2011; showing an increase of 65.4%.

While Turnover increased from N11.157 billion in Q3 of 2010 to N27.571 billion in the same period of year 2011; representing an increase in PAT of 147.1% in the period under review.
