Nigeria’s Exchange holds AGM amidst tight security today

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Monday announced it will hold its 50th Annual General Meeting (AGM) amidst tight security.

This was contained in a notice on behalf of the Council and Management of the Nigeria’s Exchange jointly sent by Tinuade Awe, Acting Head, Legal Department and Wole Tokede, Acting Head, Corporate Communications and made available to www.investadvocateng.com.

Part of the notice reads thus: “As you are aware, the 50th Annual General Meeting of The Exchange holds tomorrow. We look forward to having you, our partners for the development of the Capital Markets, here with us at the AGM.

This message is to provide you with some information about the AGM.

Security

There will be full security measures in operation at The Exchange tomorrow. All visitors will be subjected to security screening. Please be sure to wear your Press badges and kindly cooperate with the Security agents”

Please bear with us any inconvenience you may suffer as a result of these measures which are for the protection of all” the notice said.

The AGM will hold today Tuesday November 29, 2011 at the Trading Floor, Stock Exchange House, 2/4 Customs Street, Lagos by 11:00 am.
