Nigerian-German Chemical post N153.1 million in Q2 of 2011

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Nigerian German Chemicals Plc Wednesday reported a Loss of N153.120 million in its Second Quarter for the Period Ended September 30 2011.

To record the Loss, Profit After Tax (PAT) of the Company was N145.897 million in the Q2 of 2010 compared to a negative N153.120 million; indicating a Loss of 205 percent (-205%).

Profit Before Tax (PBT) also moved from N216.726 million in the Second Quarter of year 2010 compared to a negative of N153.120 million; showing a Loss of -170.7% in the review period.

While Turnover decreased from N1.420 billion in the Q2 of year 2010 compared to N1.176 billion in the review period; representing a decrease of -17.2%.

In the same vein, Nigerian-German also recorded a Loss in its First Quarter Report for the period ended June 30 2011.

The Company declared a negative PAT of N91.985 million in the Q1 result of year 2011 compared to N42.136 million in the same period of year 2010.

PBT also was at the same margin; while Turnover for the review period was N590 million in the First Quarter of 2011 compared to N324 million in the corresponding period of year 2010; indicating an increase of 82.1%.
