Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (Transcorp) operating in the Conglomerates Sector of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Tuesday announced the appointment of a Company Secretary.
This was contained in a Notice to the Nigeria’s Exchange and obtained by www.investadvocateng.com in Lagos Nigeria.
“The Company has notified The Exchange of the appointment of Mr. Ezeafulukwe, Christopher Onuabuchi as its Company Secretary with effect from February 11, 2012” the Notice said.
Ezeafulukwe, born in 1970 and married, obtained his LLB and LLM from the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He is a legal expert with extensive and rich experience in company administration. He started his legal carrier as a Counsel with Paul Usoro (SAN) & Co. in 1999.
He joined Platinum Bank Limited 2000 as Assistant Associate/Legal Officer. In 2002 he became the Acting head of Legal Services & Company Secretary, Platinum Bank Limited. He became the substantive Company Secretary of the Bank in January 2, 2006 – August 15, 2011. He is a member of Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators of Nigeria.
This is coming on the heels of the appointment of three (3) Directors to the Board of the Company September 2011; which include Stanley Lawson, Angela Nwabuoku and Obinna Ufudo
