ETI Pan African Bank proposes 0.4 Cents dividend in 2011

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Pan African Bank Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) Thursday proposed a 0.4 Cents dividend payout to investors of the Bank.

From the Result Announcement released at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in Lagos Nigeria and obtained by www.investadvocateng.com, ETI retained its dividend payout to its shareholders at 0.4 Cents the same amount paid in 2010 end.

ETI said in its Corporate Actions to the NSE that qualification date and closure of Register of Shareholders to benefit from the 0.4 Cents dividend for year 2011 end is May 22 and 23 2012 respectively.

While payment date has been scheduled for June 05 2012 after its Annual General Meeting (AGM) yet to be advised.

A review of the Audited Report for the period ended December 31 2011 shows that Profit After Tax (PAT) rose by 56.9% as the Company posted $206.840 million in 2011 end compared to $131.819 million recorded in year 2010.

Also, Profit Before Tax (PBT) grew from $169.026 million in year 2010 end compared to $277.422 million in the review period of year 2011; indicating a growth of 64.1%.

Gross Earnings also increased from $1.132 billion in year 2010 end to $1.514 billion in the review period of year 2011; representing an increase of 33.7%.
