Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE) – O.B Lulu-Briggs has retired from the Board of Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc (TRANSCORP) as a Director.
Transcorp Thursday made this announcement in a Notice to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) in Lagos Nigeria and obtained by www.investadvocateng.com.
Lulu-Briggs is said to be one of the longest serving Directors on the Board of Transcorp.
“Transnational Corporation of Nigeria Plc has notified The Exchange that Chief O. B. Lulu-Briggs, one of the longest serving Directors of Transcorp, has retired from the Board with effect from May 3, 2012. Consequently, and in line with the provisions of the articles of Transcorp, Chief (Mrs.) Seinye O. B. Lulu-Briggs who served as an alternate to Chief Lulu-Briggs has ceased to be an alternate Director of Transcorp†the Notice said.
In the same vein, Transcorp notified the Exchange of the change of name by Mrs. Angela Nwabuoku, a Non-Executive Director of the Company; who is now referred to as Ms. Angela Aneke.
The retirement and name change have respectively been accepted and noted by the Board of Directors. Consequently, as at July 24, 2012, the Board of Directors of Transcorp comprises of the following:

3. Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, OON Non-Executive Director
4. Mohammed Nasir Umar Non-Executive Director
