London (INVESTADVOCATE) Courteville Business Solutions Plc, operating on the Commercial Services Sector of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Monday promised to introduce foreigners willing to do business in Nigeria to funding.

Adebola Akindele, Group, Managing Director (GMD) of the Company said this at a Question and Answer Session in a presentation titled “Business, Innovation and Skills-The Role of the Diaspora” during a session at ongoing African & Caribbean Business Expo taking place in London.

According to him, there are about 167 million Nigerians that present a good business and investment environment for foreigners seeking to do business in Nigeria; while calling on the world to seize the opportunity and key into the current opportunity Nigeria has presented.

“We have 167 million people, we always have people going everywhere; so please bring your businessmen, and we will introduce them to those that have the funding.

Akindele further affirmed that part of his Companies business is keeping data, “what is the use of having data that you cannot apply to information? In Courteville, we currently have over 80 million files of Consumers that can actually come in to determine what area to focus on. If you want to deal on Spare parts, with the press of a button, we can tell you how many Mercedes Benz, particular brand that exist, you can actually do a lot especially when it comes to retail’ the Courteville GMD said.

He further advised prospective businessmen offshore willing to do business in Nigeria to approach Courteville for proper orientation.” Do not come in blindly talk to the right people” he said.

The Courteville GMD highlighted the business opportunities in Nigeria and how Courteville can help provide investors seeking to do business in Nigeria with the right platform.

The Expo is organised to serve as a global platform for expansion for African and Caribbean businesses, already operating in the UK.

Also, it is expected that the expo will present the opportunity for African and Caribbean businesses to find export clients or UK or European business partners.

The UK and European businesses will use the Expo to establish export links with the Caribbean and Africa.

The Expo will afford diaspora businesses of all sizes and in all sectors to build contacts and win business as exporters, clients or as agents.

Em Ekong, Director at ACCBE had said only 1.2 percent (1.2%) of Black businesses participate in UK based export, and outward missions compared to 14.6% of their white counterparts. “This project aims to address this gap and also recognizes the importance of skills and knowledge transfer exported by Diaspora communities that are not captured by mainstream indicators” Ekong affirmed.

As earlier reported, Courteville is the Platinum Sponsors to the African & Caribbean Business Expo, the biggest business-focused event taking place anywhere in London during the Olympic Games.
