Dangote Sugar Profit up by 85.2% in Q3 2012

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc (DANGSUGAR) Wednesday reported an 85.2 percent (85.2%) Profit for its Third Quarter (Q3) Report for the Period Ended September 30 2012.

This is contained in the Result Announcement of the Company to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) and made available to www.investadvocateng.com in Lagos Nigeria.

To record the 85.2% Profit, the Firm in the Q3 of year 2011 posted a Profit of N4.412 billion compared to N8.170 billion in the same period of year 2012.

Similarly, Profit Before Tax (PBT) also grew by 85.2% in the review period as DANSUGAR recorded N6.489 billion in the Q3 of 2011 compared to N12.015 billion in the Q3 of year 2012.

While Revenue for the period also increased slightly from N79.612 billion to N8181.311 billion representing an increase of 2.1%.

Also, Basic Earnings Per Share Annualised (EPS) appreciated from 49 Kobo in the Q3 of 2011 to 91 Kobo; showing an appreciation of 85.7%.
