Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Dangote Sugar Plc Thursday posted a 12.1 percent (12.1%) increase in its half year post-tax profit for the period ended June 30 2103.
According to the result released on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) post-tax profit for the review period increased from N5.345 billion in the half year period of 2012 to N5.990 billion in the same period of year 2103; indicating an increase of 12.1%.
While pre-tax profit also grew from N8.111 billion in the half year of 2012 to N9.837 billion in the review period of 2013; representing a growth of 21.3%.
However, revenue at the Dangote sugar rose slightly from N53.607 billion in the half year period of 2012 compared with N55.034 billion in the review period of 2013; showing a rise of 2.7%.
