THEWILL can confirm that Feyi Agagu, the son of late Dr. Olusegun Agagu, and four other persons survived the plane crash with serious injuries.
THEWILL has also confirmed that late Dr. Agagu’s son in law, Mr. Femi Adesanya married to his daughter Mowunmi survived the crash too.
They have all been transported to the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), THEWILL can report.
We are working our sources to get the identities of the other survivors.
Aviation emergency agency that conducted rescue operations said 9 persons were killed.
Authorities are yet to make the flight’s manifest public.
A statement from the Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah said there were 20 passengers and 7 crew members onboard the aircraft which took off at about 9.30am local time and crashed shortly afterwards.
The Embraer aircraft with tag no SCD 361 was operated by Associated Airlines Limited.
