Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Union Bank of Nigeria Plc has appointed a new head of corporate affairs and corporate communications (deputy general manager) (DGM) in person of Ogochukwu Sylvia Ekezie who takes over from Francis Barde, principle manager corporate affairs.

A check from InvestAdvocate shows that Ekezie resumed earlier this week.

Until her recent appointment, Ekezie was vice president, public affairs officer, Nigeria and Ghana, Citibank Nigeria Limited, from June 2007-March 2014.

Ekezie who graduated from University of Maryland College Park, from 1995 to1998, also worked as brand manager ARM Investment Manager in Lagos Nigeria, between October 2004 to May 2007.
