Dante Martins Exits NSE

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Dante Ibidapo Martins, seniour manager/corporate communications at the Nigerian Stock exchange (NSE) is exiting the Nigerian bourse.

Martins in an e-mail sent to InvestAdvocate said we are at the closing stages of summer 2014 and it is time for change and new endeavours.

According to him tomorrow Friday August 29, 2014 is his last day at the NSE, ‘’ Tomorrow is my last day at The Nigerian Stock Exchange, which I am exiting to commence a new job shortly,’’ the e-mail said.

InvestAdvocate called Martins on phone to get more details of his resignation from the NSE and his next appointment. I have to rest awhile and thereafter move on, I have spoken to a lot of people on this and one have to move on,” he said.

Martins resumed duty at the NSE on Thursday, December 01, 2011 as the head of corporate communications.

He joined Nigerian bourse from Cornerstone Financial Group where he was the head of brand and corporate development with general oversight functions for research and development (R&D), competitive intelligence, product development, internal and external communications, brand management and corporate innovation.

He is a chartered communications practitioner with a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the University of Nigeria, a degree in Management Science from the University of Winneba, a Certificate in Digital Communication and Design from the Pan African University and a Professional Diploma in Communication from the Business Education Examinations Council.

He also holds a Professional Practicing Certificate in Public Relations from the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and is an Associate of the Institute of Direct Marketing, London.
