Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Receiving agents to the just concluded Diamond Bank Plc rights issue has been given till (tomorrow) Tuesday September 02, 2014 deadline to forward their returns.

Lead issuing house to the offer, Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers Limited announced recently that acceptance list for the rights issue closed on Tuesday, 26 August, 2014 and receiving agents nationwide should forward their returns to Centurion Registrars Limited, registrars to the rights not later than Tuesday, 02 September, 2014 as stated in the Right Circular approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).

As earlier reported, shareholders of the bank at an annual general meeting (AGM) held on 24 April 2014 approved that the lender raise $309 million (N50.37 billion) via a rights issue of 8,685,145,863 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each will be offered to the Bank’s shareholders in the ratio of 3 new ordinary shares for every 5 ordinary shares held as at 13 June, 2014 at N5.80 per share.

The rights commenced on Wednesday, 30 July 2014 and closed on Tuesday, 26 August 2014.
