Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Beer makers, Nigerian Breweries Plc has appointed Mark Rutten to the board of the company; according to an issuer’s announcement to the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
The brewer said Rutten’s appointment was with effect from August 01, 2014.
Nigerian Breweries said Rutten was born May 01, 1975 and he obtained Bachelor in Business Economics degree from Erasmus University in Rotterdam (1994 – 1995); 1996 -1999: University of Groningen, Masters in Business Economics (specialisation in Controlling); 1997 – 2000: University of Groningen, Masters in Business Administration (specialisation in International Business); 2001 – 2004: University of Amsterdam (post Masters – Certified Controller).
According to the Nigerian beer maker, Rutten has also acquired the following skills apart from his educational qualifications: 2003: Heineken International Management Development Course (HIMDEC)
2007: University of Nyenrode, Process Management (Mergers & Acquisitions)
2008: INSEAD, Fontainebleau – Management Development Programme.
Nigerian breweries said his work experience spans the following period and organisations: 2000: Commercial Excellence Project in Switzerland (8 months) for Heineken, The Netherlands.
