Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced that its Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting earlier scheduled to hold on September 22 and 23, 2014 has now being brought forward to Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19, 2014.

This is contained in statement by Ibrahim Mu’azu, director, corporate communications of the CBN and posted on its official website.

‘’We wishes to inform all our stakeholders that the 240th Meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) earlier scheduled to hold on September 22 and 23, 2014, is now to hold on Thursday, September 18 and Friday, September 19, 2014.

 Accordingly, all critical stakeholders are to take note of the change in date and adjust their calendar.

Meanwhile, the Central Bank of Nigeria wishes to apologise for the inconveniences that may be caused by the change of date,’’ the statement said.
