Dangote Flour Records N2.92 Billion Loss in Q1

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Nigeria’s Dangote Flour Mills Plc said on Monday it recorded a loss of N2.920 billion in its first quarter (Q1) report for the period ended December 31, 2014, the company said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange.

Dangflour in the review period reported a negative profit after tax (PAT) of N2.920 billion compared to a negative of N2.806 billion in the Q  1 of 2013.

Profit before tax (PBT) went southward as the company reported a loss of N2.986 billion from a loss of N2.875 billion in the same period of 2013.

However, revenue climbed up 27.5 percent to N10.665 billion from N8.364 billion recorded in the corresponding period of 2013.

Share price of the company at the end of today’s session at the Nigerian bourse lost 0.05 kobo as it opened N3.05 and closed N3.00.
