Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-The Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) on Thursday listed Diamond Bank Plc’s 8,685,145,863 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at N5.80 per share following a successful rights issue completion.

 “The Market is hereby notified that following the successful conclusion of the Rights Issue of 8,685,145,863 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each at N5.80 per share of Diamond Bank Plc, The Exchange today, 09 April 2015 listed the supplementary shares. The offer was 100 percent subscribed.

The NSE said consequently the issued and fully paid ordinary shares of the lender is now 23,160,388,968 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each.

The lender opened the issue July 30, 2014 saw the bank offering a total of 8,685,145,863 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each to its shareholders in the ratio of three new ordinary shares for every five ordinary shares held as of June 13, 2014 at N5.80 per share.
