Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Pan-African lender, Ecobank Transnational Incorporated Plc (ETI) said last Friday it has listed N19.34 billion worth of shares on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE), the lender said in an issuer’s announcement.

“A total of 1,250,000,000 ordinary shares of US$0.025 each at N15.47 per share belonging to Ecobank Transnational Incorporated Plc were admitted to trade at the Exchange on July 16, 2015,” ETI said.

This listing came as a result of Placing and by this action, the total outstanding shares of the company now stood at 17,202,704,264 units.

Shares of ETI jumped up 8.16 percent to close on Thursday for the  el-Fitr celebrations, it opened on the Nigerian bourse at N20.34 and closed at N22.00 gaining 1.66 percent per share.
