Nigeria’s Aliko Dangote Make List of World’s Most Powerful People 2015-Forbes

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Nigeria’s business mogul and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote is amongst those named in the list of world’s most powerful people released on Thursday by Forbes, business and financial news firm.

The list consist of 73 most powerful people in the world as released by Forbes with Russian leader Vladimir Putin emerging number one most powerful person in the world in 2015, while Angela Merkel, German Chancellor, Barack Obama, President of the United States of America and Pope Francis of the Roman Catholic Church emerging second, third and fourth respectively.

Nigeria’s Dangote came 71st in position beating Donald Trump US Republican presidential hopeful to the 72nd position.

Dangote who produces, cement, sugar and flour in Africa’s most populous country as at June 11, 2015 was worth $16.7 billion.

The Nigeria’s business mogul emerged 68 in 2014 Forbes most powerful people in the world, he was number 67 billion in 2015 and number one in Nigeria, in 2014 he was name Forbes number one (1) Africa’s 50 Richest in 2014.
