Cadbury Nigeria Reports N842.15 Million Loss in Q3’16

Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Food and beverage producer, Cadbury Nigeria Plc said on Friday its  loss after tax (PAT) for the nine-month period ended September 30, 2016 was N842 15 million from a profit of N28.55 million recorded a year ago.

Loss before profit in the review period was N842.15 million from a profit of N40.78 million reported the same period of last year.

Revenue of the company dropped 1.19 percent to N21.32 billion in the nine-month period of 2016 from N21.07 billion in the corresponding period of 2015, Cadbury said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).

Shares of the food and beverage maker at the close of the session on the Nigerian equities market declined 4.99 percent to N13.13 from N13.82 traded the previous day; losing 0.69 kobo per share.
