Kenya’s inflation edged up to at 6.47 percent year-on-year in October, from 6.34 percent last month, driven mostly by food prices, the statistics office said on Monday.
The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics said in a statement that on a month-on-month basis, the inflation was at 0.62 percent, compared with September’s 0.34 percent.
Food and non-alcoholic drinks’ inflation was 0.96 percent month-on-month.
