Overall equities market performance measures, NSE ASI and market capitalisation, upped by 0.18 bps amid bargain hunting, particularly targeted at oil/gas and industrial stocks. Elsewhere, NIBOR increased for all tenor buckets on tightened financial system liquidity. Similarly, NITTY increased across most of the maturities amid sell pressure.
