Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-First listed Nigerian oil and gas upstream firm, Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc on Friday announced the retirement of  Stuart Connal  as the chief operating officer and executive director of the company, effective 30 March 2017.

SEPLAT says Connal retires at the age of 60 years after seven years of dedicated service to the company.

“The board and management continue to express their deep gratitude to Mr. Connal for his invaluable contributions to the growth and development of the company during his tenure, and wish him every happiness in his retirement,SEPLAT said in a statement.

Shares of the company at the close of the trading week on the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) grew 10.22 percent to N369.00 from N359.28 recorded the previous session; gaining N36.72 per share.
