Central Bank of Nigeria recently released the June 2017 survey report on purchasing and supply executives from manufacturing and non-manufacturing businesses, revealing expansions in both the manufacturing and non-manufacturing businesses. Sustained expansion in the real sector affirmed optimism of a near term exit from the country’s five month long economic recession.
The boost in real sector activity could be partly attributed to improved business sentiment on the back of favorable ongoing economic reforms to improve the business environment.
