Ms. Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, met with French President Emmanuel Macron today in Paris. They took the opportunity to discuss recent developments in the global economy and exchanged views on the current recovery, which offers a unique window of opportunity for reforms, including in Europe. In that regard, Ms. Lagarde welcomed the ambitious reform plans put forward by the French authorities to address longstanding economic challenges.
