The government of the Kingdom of Morocco, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Arab Fund for Social and Economic Development (AFESD), and the Arab Monetary Fund (AMF) will co-host the high-level conference Opportunity for All: Promoting Growth, Jobs, and Inclusiveness in the Arab World in Marrakesh, January 29–30, 2018.
Following up on the 2014 Amman conference, Building the Future: Jobs, Growth, & Fairness in the Arab World, participants will exchange experiences, lessons, and ideas on how to create more jobs by exploiting new sources and sectors of growth. Participants will include policymakers, academics, youth, and representatives from the civil society from the Arab world.
The conference is structured over two days, with the first day dedicated mostly to thematic sessions that will be closed to the media, to allow for candid exchanges. All sessions on the second day will be open; journalists are invited to attend – registration is required.
