Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Soap producer, PZ Cussons Nigeria Plc said on Tuesday its third quarter (Q3) 2018 pretax profit for the period ended February 28, 2018 dropped 16.49 percent to N1.34 billion from N1.60 billion posted a year ago.

Pretax profit declined 16.52 percent to N1.96 billion from N2.35 billion declared the same period of 2017.

On the flip-side, revenue of the soap manufacturer, increased from N57.15 billion in the Q3 of 2017 to N63.25 billion in the review period of 2018; representing a growth of of 10.69 percent, the company said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
