Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Dangote Flour Mills Plc (DANGFLOUR) on Thursday said its pretax profit for the full year ended December 31, 2017 rose 89.86 percent to N22.44 billion from N11.81 billion posted a year ago.
Profit after tax (PAT) of the company grew 43.15 percent to N15.12 billion from N10.56 billion recorded the corresponding period of 2016.
Revenue increased from N105.76 billion in 2016 year end to N125.44 billion in the review period of 2017; indicating a growth of 18.61 percent, Dangote Flour said in a filing with the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE).
The company offered a dividend of 20 kobo per share to shareholders for the period ended December 31, 2018.
Qualification date for investors who are to benefit from the dividend payment, according to the company is April 20, 2018; while closure date has been scheduled between April 23 to April 27, 2018. Annual General Meeting (AGM) comes up June 22, 2018 and payment date is June 27, 2018. Dangote Flour said in its corporate action to the NSE.
