Market movers: UACN (-9.46%), DANGFLOUR (-4.74%), IKEJAHOTEL (+9.80%), FIDSON (+4.36%).
Sector Performances: Banking (-0.23%), Consumer Goods (-0.10%), Industrial, Oil & Gas.
Market activity: In today’s early trade, while total volume increased by 23%, total value declined 76% compared to this time yesterday, as investors have exchanged 87.8million units of shares worth N545million.
IKEJAHOTEL (+9.80%) is the most actively traded stock with 45.70million units of shares accounting for about 52% of total volume.
Likely close: In the absence of a significant gain in DANGCEM, we may see the market print in red today if the sell-off the Banking and Consumer Goods sectors continues.
