Measuring Economic Welfare in the Digital Age

The Sixth IMF Statistical Forum will be held during November 19-20, 2018 focusing on “Measuring Economic Welfare in the Digital Age: What and How?” This year’s forum will be an open event with online registration through the forum’s website. This year’s keynote speaker will be Jim Balsillie, Chair of Centre for International Governance and former chairman and co-CEO of Research in Motion (Blackberry). The keynote will be followed by a one-on-one discussion with the IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde. The Forum will also bring together distinguished speakers including academics, policymakers, statisticians, representatives of the private sector and, national and international organizations.
