The International Monetary Fund (IMF) will host a seminar on Scaling up Access to Finance for SMEs. The event will take place at the IMF’s headquarters 2 in Washington, DC.
Small and medium-sized enterprises, which make key contributions to GDP and employment, face significant challenges in accessing finance. Discussions during this seminar will focus on policies to improve access to finance for SMEs, including based on the recently published IMF paper on this topic, available at
