Sector Performances: Consumer Goods (+0.14%), Banking (+0.11%), Oil & Gas (-0.22%) and  Industrial (-0.01%).

Market activity: In today’s early trade, total volume and value declined by 24% and 12% respectively, compared to this time last week Friday as investors have traded about 48million units of shares worth about N445million. JAPAULOIL (+8.70%) is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 12million units of shares accounting for about 25% of the total volume.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of MTNN and DANGCEM, the market may close on a flat note today barring any significant gains/losses in bellwether names.
