Sector Performances:  Banking (+0.23%), Oil & Gas (+0.19%), Industrial (+0.02%) and Consumer Goods (-0.33%). 

Market activity: In today’s early trade, total volume and value declined by 40% and 52% respectively, compared to last week Friday, as investors have traded about 126million units of shares worth approximately N970million. UBA (-2.33%) is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 31million units of shares accounting for about 25% of the total volume.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM and MTN, the market may close up today if the gains in most sectors persist.
