Market movers: NPFMCRFBK (+8.66%), ETERNA (+7.63%)JAIZBANK (-4.92%), and CHAMS (-4.55%).

Sector Performances:  Oil & Gas (+0.46%), Banking (+0.11%), Consumer Goods (-0.26%) and Industrial.

Market activity: In today’s early trade, total volume and value declined by 16% and 65% respectively, compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 52million units of shares worth approximately N211million. AFRINSURE is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 8million units of shares accounting for about 15% of the total volume.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM and MTN, the market may close up today if the gains in Oil & Gas and Banking sectors persist.
