Market activity: In today’s early trade, while total volume decreased by about 19%, total value increased by 5% compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 136million units of shares worth  N3billion.  GUARANTY(+0.32%) is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 61million units of shares accounting for about 48% of the total volume.

Likely close: In the absence of significant losses in the prices of DANGCEM and MTN, the market may close up today if the gains in most sectors persist.
