Market movers: MANSARD (-5.53%), ETI (-5.17%)HONYFLOUR (+9.95%) and FLOURMILL (+5.98%).

Sector Performances: Banking (-0.11%)Consumer Goods (+0.15%), Industrial and Oil and Gas

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value decreased by 50% and 52% respectively, compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 66million units of shares worth N827 million. FBNH (-1.22%) is the most actively traded stock thus far with about 22 million units of shares accounting for about 33% of the total volume.

Likely close: In the absence of significant gains in the prices of DANGCEM and MTNN, the market may close southwards today if the loss recorded in the Banking sector persist.
