The NGXASI advanced by 0.57% today, reaching a new ATH to close at 102,149.93pts, as investors buying interest on SEPLAT (+10.00%), GEREGU (+5.39%) and ETI (+7.29%) drove the market into the green zone.
In the Fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed flat, due to the tepid performance observed across all tenors of the curve, as Average T-Bills yield remained unchanged to close at 6.73%. Likewise, the FGN Bond market closed flat as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 13.59%.
At the NAFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 2.08% to close at NGN900.96/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) inched up by 1.49% to USD81.23pb.
