Sector Performances: Banking (+7.33%), Consumer Goods (+3.20%), Oil & Gas (-0.48%)and Industrial (-0.20%).

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume increased by 53% while total value decreased by 50%, when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 455 million units of shares worth N6.92 billion.

TRANSCORP (+0.31%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 65 million units of shares accounting for 14% of the total volume.

UBA (+9.84%) is the most traded stock by value worth about N1.43 billion worth of shares accounting for 21% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of any significant decline in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
