Sector Performances: Industrial (+1.95%), Consumer Goods (+0.87%), Banking (-0.35%) and Oil & Gas.

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value decreased by 57% and 62% respectively, when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 79 million units of shares worth N2.27 billion.

TRANSCORP (-0.70%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 14 million units of shares accounting for 17% of the total volume.

GEREGU (+6.47%) is the most traded stock by value worth about N897 million worth of shares accounting for 40% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of any significant losses in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
