NGXASI Dips -1.30% on Profit Taking in BUACEMENT, FBNH, TRANSCORP

The NGXASI declined by 1.30% today to close at 101,060.67pts, as profit taking activities in BUACEMENT (-9.98%), FBNH (-8.42%) and TRANSCORP (-5.80%) drove the market into the red zone.

In the Fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed flat, as yields remained unchanged across all tenors, as Average T-Bills yield were unchanged to close at 15.44%. In, the FGN Bond market closed slightly bullish as the Average FGN Bond yields fell by 3bps to close at 16.09%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 2.96% to close at NGN1,551.24/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) decreased by 1.39% to USD82.40pb.
