Sector Performances: Consumer goods (+0.93%), Banking (+0.12%), Industrial and Oil & Gas.

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume declined by 53% while total value advanced by 41% when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 160 million units of shares worth N13.27 billion.

TRANSCORP (+0.06%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 39 million units of shares accounting for 24% of the total volume.

TRANSPOWER (+9.93%) is the most traded stock by value worth about N9.35 billion accounting for 70% of the total value.

Likely close: In the absence of any significant depreciation in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close in green territory.
