Lagos (INVESTADVOCATE)-Access Bank has launched the sixteenth season of DiamondXtra, a savings and reward account offering customers the chance to win prizes totaling N200 million and three SUVs, among other exciting rewards.
At the unveiling event in Alaba International Market, Lagos, Bolarinwa Animashaun, Regional Sales Director of Access Bank Lagos, reiterated the bank’s commitment to rewarding loyal customers, citing the success of previous seasons where 26,696 customers were rewarded with a total of N6.5 billion over the years.
This season, 15,786 customers will be rewarded, with 10,000 receiving digital rewards, marking a significant expansion into digital opportunities to enhance customer experience.
Draws will follow previous formats, with monthly, quarterly, and annual draws occurring in different regions.
The prize pool includes N200 million and three SUVs.
During the unveiling, 48 customers won cash prizes ranging from N20,000 to N200,000.
Among the winners was Victor Edobor, who opened his DiamondXtra account just 24 hours before the draw.
Maureen Nneka Oforka, another winner, expressed her surprise at winning for the first time, while Emeka Ezikeugo, a trader in Alaba, was the grand prize winner of N200,000 and thanked Access Bank for the unexpected prize.
To participate, new and existing customers can open a DiamondXtra savings account with N5,000. The more multiples of N5,000 saved, the higher the chances of winning at the draws. DiamondXtra combines savings and current account features, allowing deposits of cash and third-party cheques.
Over 15 years, the DiamondXtra reward scheme has given away over N6.5 billion in cash and household items to loyal customers, and still counting.
