The NGXASI traded on a flat note today to close at 98,223.97pts, as the gains printed in OKOMUOIL (+9.98%), NESTLE (+3.02%) and MTNN (+2.33%) were offset by the losses observed in WAPCO (-5.43%), ZENITHBANK (-2.59%) and GTCO (-1.43%).

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market continued its bullish trend today, the buy pressure on all tenors persisted. As a result, Average T-Bills yield moderated by 1bp to close at 22.46%. In line, the FGN Bond market also had a strong performance as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 1bp to close at 18.58%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.32% to close at NGN 1,421.06/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 0.28% to USD83.39pb.
